Analysis of sample

When the sample of any sewage or trade effluent is sent for analysis to the laboratory established or recognised by the central board or the state board (Click to see procedure), the concerned central board analyst or state board analyst appointed under the Act analyses the sample and submits a report in the prescribed form of the result of such analysis in triplicate to the central board or the state board (as the case may be).

When the sample is sent to a laboratory established or recognized by the central government or the state government (i.e. Central Water Laboratory or State Water Laboratory), the concerned central board analyst or state board analyst appointed under the Act analyses the sample and submits a report in the prescribed form of the result of such analysis in triplicate, to the central board or the state board (as the case may be).
